Before attending Oklahoma City University School of Law, Rodrigo Carrillo spent four years working as a mediator and courtroom interpreter, which gave him valuable insight into communication, conflict resolution, and an understanding of the legal process and terminology.
While in law school, he earned his limited license to practice law to work at the Oklahoma County Public Defender's Office and gain courtroom experience. Additionally, Rodrigo earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in 2016 for Interviewing, Counseling, and Negotiation Advocacy.
Rodrigo graduated Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2017 and began his practice as an Assistant District Attorney, managing felony and misdemeanor cases focusing on drug and property crimes and taking many cases to jury trials and obtaining guilty verdicts.
Rodrigo then shifted to private practice where he continues to his well-rounded experience to help clients with wills, trusts, probate matters, and a variety of other matters that affect the family.
